Waterski

Both dual and mono skier’s can be towed by the 60HP 4 stroke on the dinghy and with its deep V hull holds slalom runs very well. If you wish to learn from scratch or progress up to mono and slalom instruction is available at all levels.

Canoeing

The 2 man inflatable canoe offers a quiet and tranquil way to explore the coastline or just paddle off to the beach for swim. Light and easily towed the canoe can be readily pulled behind a pair of snorkelers ready for the trip back to the yacht.

Swimming

Just about every anchorage has a fine beach nearby to while away a few hours relaxing or swim around the boat – made easy to climb onboard with the drop down ladder in the stern plus a fresh water shower to rinse off in the lazerette.

Fishing

Fishing

There is nothing better than messing about on water and that includes fishing. During passages we troll 50lb and 30lb Penn Internationals from the stern rod holders often catching Spanish mackerel, wahoo or a tuna. If at anchor the dinghy is the choice mode of transport to troll the Penn’s up and down the reefs or take a run through the passages to the drop off.

Jump in the dingy and go hand lining at the reefs edge, it is a great way to catch a grouper or snapper for dinner and especially tranquil as the sun dips down.

Fly-fishing is a specialty of the yacht and 8 weight rods are carried but more likely you would want to bring your own fly rod, reels and flies. Many species are available including bluefin trevally and GT’s and both will chase a clouser or popper. Even if you have never fly fished before it is a great opportunity to learn. Drop us a line to discuss your fishing interests in more detail.

Third time aboard High Aspect – the Jones Team does it again – wonderful experience in a great part of the world. Thank you for making it sooo special. .
